Miguel Cabrera is a bona fide superstar and coming off a phenomenal season that saw the Detroit Tigers slugger earn the 2012 AL MVP after a historic year at the plate. A season so outstanding that Cabrera won the Triple Crown, the first player since Carl Yastrzemski accomplished the feat in 1967. Being an MVP and Triple Crown winner, Cabrera remains a hot commodity and is always in demand. And on Thursday morning, Miggy visited the Spanish language morning show Despierta América to make a gracious appearance. The program has posted several photos of his visit to its official Twitter account — such as the one above –but as The Big Lead points out, all of the photos pale in comparison to the one Cabrera uploaded himself to his own Twitter account: There you have it. Lovely gal, and they appear to have a nice rapport and some good chemistry definitely exists between the two. Now, I am not familiar with the show and the kind of comedy bits it engages in, but something tells me that if Cabrera felt the desire to do a little investigation — and I’m praying I’m correct in my suspicion — it wouldn’t be long before Miggy knew all there was to know about The Crying Game. Let us hope for his sake he doesn’t travel down that path.
