Red Sox COO Mike Dee is leaving the Boston Red Sox and will become the CEO of the Miami Dolphins, according to a report in the social section of today’s Boston Herald. The reports states that an announcement will be made today, although, as of 5:30pm ET, no press release has been sent out from the Red Sox. Neither the Red Sox or Dolphins would comment on the matter. "I think anything that comes out on Mike's career should come from Mike," said Red Sox president and CEO Larry Lucchino. Dee, who helped form the Fenway Sports Group, which has produced millions of dollars in revenue for the Red Sox and recently has begun negotiating deals on the Sox' new spring training facility in Fort Myers, said via e-mail he would not make a comment "at this time."
