We’ve seen fans get images of their favorite athletes shaved into their hair before (see here and here), so it’s not like it’s such a big deal that this guy got Rangers catcher Mike Napoli’s likeness shaved into his head. Still, you have to admire a person’s level of fandom that they’d be willing to walk around in public with a Napoli haircut for the month or so that it takes for his hair to grow back in. Plus you have to give props to the hairstylist responsible for the work of art, because it’s no mean feat to shave a human face into another human’s hair and have it come out looking halfway decent.
For those reasons alone we’ll always feature fans athlete’s images shaved into their heads on this site. Plus it makes for nice filler material.
Anywho, here’s the latest, courtesy of our great friends at Los That Sports Blog…
Impressive. I’m not sure how much it costs to have this done, but considering the attention to detail and the time it must take to finish a project like this, I’m going to assume quite a bit. Much more than the $6 I pay at the barber’s college for my haircuts, although to their credit they did cut the likeness of Steve Balboni into my hair last time, completely by accident of course. Best $6 I ever spent.
