According to Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, the Breweres have officially signed catcher Wil Nieves. He will receive a $775,000 base salary on a non-guaranteed deal.

The sides agreed to a deal on Tuesday, December 7. At the time the Brewers were believed to looking for additional catching options on top of Nieves.
