Here's a list of players that signed Minor League deals recently: – The Texas Rangers signed left handed pitcher Scott Olsen to a Minor League deal according to MLB.com's transaction page. Olsen last pitched in the Majors in 2010 and went 4-8 with a 5.56 ERA, 5.9 K/9,  3.0 BB/9, 1.1 HR/9 and a 4.45 FIP in 81.0 innings pitched. Last season, he only pitched four innings for the White Sox's Triple-A team before injuring his shoulder. – Right handed pitcher Anthony Ortega signed a Minor League deal with the Kansas City Royals PRO Rumors has learned. The 27-year old hurler reached the Majors in 2009 with the Angels and went 0-2 with a 9.24 ERA, 5.0 K/9, 4.3 BB/9, 2.8 HR/9 and a 7.52 FIP in 12.2 innings. So far in the Venezuelan Winter League, Ortega is 1-0 with a 3.44 ERA, 8.8 K/9, 2.5 BB/9, 0.5 HR/9 and a 3.42 FIP in 18.1 innings. – The Los Angeles Dodgers have come to an agreement with middle infielder Miguel Rojas PRO Rumors has learned. Rojas, 23, played for the Reds' Double-A and Triple-A team in 2012 hitting .199/.263/.224 with 1 HR and 17 RBI's in 304 plate appearances. This season in Venezuela Rojas is hitting .206/.267/.221 with a .224 wOBA in 68 AB's. – Kevin Russo agreed to a Minor League deal with the Detroit Tigers reports Jon Paul Morosi of FOXSports. Russo spent the 2012 season playing for the Yankees' Triple-A team and hit .284/.358/.351 with a .328 wOBA in 456 plate appearances. The utility man reached the Majors in 2010 with the Yankees and hit .184/.245/.224 with a .220 wOBA in 54 plate appearances. – The Atlanta Braves signed outfielder Jose Alberto Martinez to a Minor League deal according to sources close to PRO Rumors. The 24-year old outfielder played for the White Sox's Double-A team in 2012 and hit .248/.315/.321 with 5 HR's, 42 RBI's and a .302 wOBA in 482 plate appearances.
