Top prospect Gerrit Cole takes the mound tonight for Indianapolis, coming off a start in which he allowed hits to the first three batters of the game, then followed that with six no-hit innings. He will face off against second place Columbus, who trail Indianapolis by 6.5 games in the standings. Cole looks to build off the strong finish to his last outing (Photo Credit: David Hague) AAA: Indianapolis (36-19) @ Columbus (29-25) 7:15pm Probable starter:  Gerrit Cole (3-3, 3.67) Yesterday’s Result: Indianapolis 3, Pawtucket 2 in 10 innings Gerrit Cole will make his 11th start of the season tonight. He has pitched a total of 54 innings, allowing 39 hits, four homers and 26 walks. He has 39 strikeouts, a 1.31 GO/AO ratio and a .207 BAA. Cole has yet to strike out more than five batters in any game this season. He faced Columbus once this year, his first start of the season. He threw four innings that day, giving up three runs on five hits, no walks and he struck out two batters. AA: Altoona (21-32) @ Portland (29-23) 6:00pm Probable starter: Ethan Hollingsworth (1-3, 5.22) Yesterday’s Result: Binghamton 6, Altoona 4 Ethan Hollingsworth will make his second start of the season tonight. He has pitched mainly out of the bullpen this year, making 11 appearances in relief. In his only start, Hollingsworth pitched five innings against Erie on 5/3, allowing four runs on seven hits and no walks, while striking out five. On the season, he has pitched a total of 29.1 innings, giving up 32 hits, three homers, 12 walks and he has 19 strikeouts. Hollingsworth has pitched much better at home this year, posting a .205 BAA in Altoona vs a .329 BAA on the road. High-A: Bradenton (20-33) vs Jupiter (28-24) 6:30pm Probable starter: Eliecer Navarro (0-9, 3.48) Yesterday’s Result: Ft Myers 7, Bradenton 4 Eliecer Navarro will make his tenth start of the season and 11th appearance overall. Navarro has pitched in bad luck all season, leading to his 0-9 record. In the month of May, he is 0-5, 3.30 in 30 innings, with 30 strikeouts, a .221 BAA and just seven walks. In his last start, he went 6.2 innings, allowing only one run on five hits and two walks, with four strikeouts. Navarro is 0-3, 2.53 in four home starts. He has yet to face Jupiter this year. Left-handed batters are hitting .234 against him, with no walks or homers. Low-A: West Virginia (29-25) @ Lakewood (22-30) 7:05pm Probable starter: Orlando Castro (5-3, 2.10) Yesterday’s Result:  West Virginia 8, Lakewood 3 (game recap) Orlando Castro will make his 11th start of the season tonight. He has pitched a total of 55.2 innings, allowing 49 hits, four homers, five walks and he has 49 strikeouts. He has a 1.34 GO/AO ratio and a .238 BAA. Just like the other lefty going tonight(Navarro), Castro has yet to allow a walk or home run to a left-handed batter. He faced Lakewood five days ago, giving up three runs(two earned) on nine hits, no walks and five strikeouts. Castro has been impressive in his six road starts, going 2-2, 1.89 in 33.1 innings.
