In Indianapolis tonight, Stolmy Pimentel takes the mound trying to bounce back from a poor start in which he gave up seven earned runs to Louisville. Stolmy Pimentel gave up seven runs last time out AAA: Indianapolis (68-53) vs Toledo (52-69) 7:05pm Probable starter: Stolmy Pimentel (2-4, 3.20) Yesterday’s Result: Indianapolis 2, Toledo 1 in 10 innings Stolmy Pimentel will make his 11th start for Indianapolis tonight. He also made 13 starts for Altoona earlier in the year. Between both stops, he has pitched a total of 142 innings, allowing 127 hits, 14 homers and 52 walks. He has 112 strikeouts, a 1.21 GO/AO ratio and a .239 BAA. In his last start, Pimentel was hit hard, allowing seven runs on nine hits and two walks. The one highlight was a AAA high eight strikeouts. He has struck out seven batters in a game with Indianapolis three times. Pimentel allowed four runs on nine hits in six innings last time he faced Toledo. AA: Altoona (54-62) vs Harrisburg (63-55) 7:00pm Probable starter: Ethan Hollingsworth (6-4, 3.20) Yesterday’s Result: Binghamton 1, Altoona 0 Ethan Hollingsworth will make his ninth start with Altoona. He has also started twice for Indianapolis and pitched 15 times in relief for the Curve. Hollingsworth has pitched a total of 88.2 innings this year, giving up 75 hits, ten homers and 20 walks. He has 47 strikeouts, an 0.96 GO/AO ratio and a .220 BAA. In his last start, which was with Indianapolis, he gave up two unearned runs over five innings in a loss Louisville. High-A: Bradenton (43-68 overall, 17-26 2nd half) vs St Lucie (60-49) 6:30pm Probable starter: Joely Rodriguez (2-3, 2.18) Yesterday’s Result:  Bradenton 5, St Lucie 3 Joely Rodriguez will get his 23rd start of the season, his ninth with Bradenton. In 14 starts with West Virginia earlier in the year, he went 5-5, 2.72 in 77.2 innings. With Bradenton, he has thrown 45.1 innings, allowing 40 hits, one home run and 12 walks. On the season, he has 82 strikeouts, an impressive 2.27 GO/AO ratio and a .267 BAA. In his last start, Rodriguez went five innings, giving up two runs on six hits and two walks. Prior to that, he had two straight outings in which he threw six shutout innings. Low-A: West Virginia (67-49 overall, 30-16 2nd half) @ Lakewood (45-69) 7:05pm Probable starter: Jason Creasy (3-3, 3.14) Yesterday’s Result: West Virginia 7, Lakewood 0 (game story) Jason Creasy will make his tenth start of the season. He has also pitched 18 times in relief. As a starter, he is 1-3, 2.95 in 42.2 innings, with 35 strikeouts. In his last start, Creasy allowed one run on four hits in six innings against this same Lakewood club. He also faced them on 6/29, throwing one-hit, shutout ball over five innings. Creasy has allowed just one home run to right-handed batters this season. Short-Season A: Jamestown (31-18) @ Tri-City (30-21) 7:00pm Probable Starter: Jackson Lodge (3-2, 4.50) Yesterday’s Result:  Jamestown 4, Vermont 0 Jackson Lodge will make his ninth start of the season tonight. He has also pitched once in relief. Lodge has thrown 42 innings, allowing 47 hits, five homers and five walks. He has 17 strikeouts and a 1.27 GO/AO ratio. He has struck out two batters or less in all but one appearance, a three strikeout game in mid-July at home against Connecticut. In his last start, Lodge gave up four runs on six hits and a walk over three innings. Rookie:  GCL Pirates (21-21) vs GCL Yankees1 (20-22) 12:00pm Probable Starter: Wei-Chung Wang (0-2, 3.23) Yesterday’s Result: Pirates 5, Braves 4 Wei-Chung Wang will make his ninth start of the season today. He has thrown 30.2 innings this season, allowing 25 hits, two homers and two walks. He has 25 strikeouts, a 1.16 GO/AO ratio and a .214 BAA. In his last start, he threw three shutout innings, giving up four hits and a walk. In his previous outing, he threw four no-hit innings.
