Major League Baseball is looking into the verbal spat between Tampa Bay pitcher David Price and umpire crew chief Tom Hallion over the weekend.
MLB was still trying Monday to sort out what happened a day earlier in Chicago.
Price accused Hallion of directing an expletive toward him during the Rays' 8-3 win over the White Sox on Sunday. The AL Cy Young winner thought Hallion missed a pitch, and exchanged words with the plate umpire while heading to the dugout after the seventh inning.
Hallion later called Price a ''liar.'' Price took to Twitter and disputed Hallion's version.

Tampa fans are already pretty familiar with Ms. Kelly Nash, but the rest of the World Wide Web got a good look at her recently when she took this awesome picture of herself at a game when a ball happened to zoom right by her head.
A lot of guys probably had to look at this pic twice; once because with the way the light played off her hair behind her--wow, it was a good pic,...

“Most dangerous selfie ever. That happened.”
Nash has already shot down anyone who had a thought this was Photoshopped.
Here is wide version before Instagram cropping. Sorry, I have better things to do than...

Well, Hideki Matsui will be returning to the Yankees.
For one day.
Plans are in the works for the Yankees to sign Matsui to a one-day contract so he can retire as a Yankee, according to George King of the New York Post. Matsui originally announced his retirement from baseball back in December.
Signed prior to the 2003 season, Matsui quickly became a fan favorite. Over his seven years...
Kelly Nash is a Fox Sports sideline reporter covering the Tampa Bay Rays. As you can tell from the photos, her job is largely influenced by her looks. Probably had a lot to do with how she got this sweet gig. So getting a batting practice home run ball to the face would likely not be the best thing to happen to Kelly Nash and her media career.
And it actually came “this...
(AP) -- While the late innings doomed the Tampa Bay Rays in the opening game of the series, it's the first inning that has given Jeremy Hellickson the most trouble lately.
Hellickson will try to get off to a strong start and get the Rays back on track on Wednesday night when they continue their road trip against the Kansas City Royals.
