Via Jack Curry (props to RAB), with Jorge Posada sidelined due to a hairline fracture in his right foot, the Yankees have recalled catcher Chad Moeller from Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Moeller, a Yankee in 2008, will now serve as the backup catcher to Francisco Cervelli. In order to make room for Moeller on the roster, the Yankees have placed Nick Johnson on the 60-day disabled list.
