The movie Moneyball was released in the latter part of the summer and the earlier part of the fall and at the first look of it, it seemed like only baseball fans would have enjoyed the movie but after seeing the movie a few times I have found out that the movie isn’t just for fans like me but for everyone including your mom who can’t decipher the cryptic code that is the RBI. Thursday, the hit baseball movie was awarded with four Golden Globe nominations. It was nominated in the drama category for best motion picture, best actor (Brad Pitt), best supporting actor (Jonah Hill), and best screenplay (Aaron Sorkin, Steven Zaillian). The movie is based off the book Moneyball by Michael Lewis even though it doesn’t include every detail from the book.
