After no notes yesterday, I'm back this morning with a crapshoot some gems: After missing almost two months, Carlos Quentin was activated by the White Sox. He will be needed if the ChiSox want to keep up their AL Central lead and have a chance in the playoffs.Jason Schmidt got a win in his first start since 2007 yesterday. While I give him an "attaboy", the Dodgers still need a #5 starter.Gordon Wittenmeyer says that the Cubs need a leadoff hitter. Why can't Ryan Theriot do it?
