A Hooters employee who served as a ballgirl at Saturday's Philadelphia Phillies game was pretty embarrassed after realizing that the ball she scooped up and gave to a fan was a fair ball that was still in play.

On the bright side, the Hooters ballgirl made a young fan very happy when she tossed him the ball, so her heart was in the right place.  And it is spring training, after all.

  • no brains or bras
  • I never buy from sites that pull this "Place ad in a comment section". Get off your couch and get a real job
  • so i take it u know her? otherwise i'd say the one with no brains is you.
  • So I take it you know her because you are taking up for someone that publically did something pretty stupid. Innocent but stupid none the less. It was her job or duty to be a ball girl , which is laughable and sad in itself. She failed to do what she was there to do. Another reason why sports, media etc all business orientated and has nothing to do with talent or the "game" anymore.. What need is there for Ice girls in hockey? Hooters Ball girls? I bet some 13 year old boy would adore that and do it for free. Anyone with an ounce of intellect would see the gratuitous BS that keeps creeping into every aspect of all big business sports "shows" is full of crap and for the simple minded.. Ohhhh Look BRIGHT ORANGE and booty dahhhhhhhh ... pretty .. hhahahaha ..
  • My infield should look so good...
    and field as good

    a softball coach
  • Ask a stripper or single mom to be a ball girl .. Problem solved..
  • With an outfit like that, she can do anything she wants with balls.
  • At least her fanny was in the right place.
  • What do you mean "make a young fan happy?" What about the middle age and old fans who are looking at her T & A's?
  • No bra good- no helmet bad--
  • One of the ugliest Hooter girls I ever saw.
  • Ugly!!! U must have very high standards. Shes fine in my book!
  • hahaha THATS WHY SHE WORKS AT HOOTERS ALL BLONDE NO BRAIN ;) you go girl
  • I use to know some Hooters girls that were brilliant, it is not the job or the tights that is the prob.. This girl made an innocent mistake, stupid as heck considering where she was but innocent... The people putting her in this position are full of poop not the girl. They knew she had no idea what she was doing. Yet they could not pass up the money some hot girl can generate.. So they wh*@#% her out all for the money, ratings, and bottom line... She is just a tool they used.
  • Typical blonde. Good thing she doesn't have a job in healthcare or some other industry that depends on life or death decisions. She wouldn't make it as a nurse or doctor.
  • Good thing Big business does not own the healthcare industry .. Wait!! Coming soon the Candies all new wellness force of hot girls hoping you get well soon! ~
  • She would make it as my nurse!
  • GOOD! if she killed you I don't think you'd be missed :)
  • Blonde, need I say anymore.
  • your wife would miss me
  • Wow. Some years ago, an innocent game watcher sitting along the baselines at a Chicago Cubs game caught a ball that was 99% in the stands foul... but because the big league outfielder couldn't make the play, the whole baseball-watching universe wanted this fans head on a platter. At least he paid for his seat. This dumb bimbo just did a few of the right guys, got a chance to play ball girl, and when she ruins a play (not really that different from the fan), all the guys laugh and pretty much say "um, thats ok. She has breasts." Then you guys wonder why women don't respect you and if it wasn't for sports, you'd sit in a corner picking your nose.
  • She obviously doesn't watch baseball on a regular basis. Give her a friggin break!!!

Can Inciarte Stick With The Phillies?

Ender Inciarte entered Spring Training a few weeks ago as something of a forgotten man. Selected as a Rule 5 draftee from the Diamondbacks all the way back on December 6, Inciarte was the first player acquired by Ruben Amaro, Jr. this past offseason. Typically, a Rule 5 selection isn’t met with much fanfare to begin with. But the subsequent additions of Ben Revere–whose popularityâ...

Phillies must improve defensively

Sabermetricians, take a deep breath: One of your favorite whipping boys actually thinks he can improve his defensive range at age 36. Bouncing Back: Roy Halladay

If there was a bounce back "team" this season it would be the Fightin’ Phils. They have more guys who underperformed or battled injuries in 2012 than you can shake a stick at. Chase Utley, Ryan Howard, and new addition Michael Young come to mind. But the one guy whose bounce back season could be the key to winning for both the Phillies and your fantasy roster is Roy...

Hooters ball girl snags ball at Phillies spring training game, doesn't know its fair (Video)

Phillies Notes and Roster Projections, 3/11

It is 3/11, and the Phillies have made a round of cuts, sending some players down already. Honestly the only mild surprise was Savery going so quick, but that's not even a real shock. Ryan Howard continued his hot start with another weekend homer. No shock there. Cole Hamels was...
