Via The Outside Corner:
In Wednesday's crucial A's-Rangers matchup for the AL West title, the Rangers jumped out to a 5-1 lead. In the fourth inning, the A's came back to tie the score 5-5. Then, still in the fourth, they took the lead 7-5 after Josh Hamilton dropped a seemingly routine pop-up by Yoenis Cespedes with two outs, allowing a pair of runs to score. The A's never looked back, defeating the Rangers 12-5 and snatching away the AL West division title on the last day of the regular season.
