In a duel with fellow trade deadline acquisition Ubaldo Jimenez, Doug Fister struck out 13 Cleveland Indians today. That’s just crazy. Before this, Fister had never even reached double digits in strikeouts before. He only had more than 7 once in his whole career: that was 9 Orioles on May 30, which happens to be last time he was awarded a win as a Mariner.
