So that’s what a little offense looks like.   Given the fact that the Rangers hadn’t scored a run since the 6th inning on Friday night, I had forgotten what those crooked numbers on the board looked like. Mike Napoli broke the scoreless streak in the 4th inning today with a solo home run to deep left.  He was DHing today, but the team’s other catcher, Geovany Soto, decided it was time to flex his offensive muscle a little too. He launched a two-run shot to left in the same inning after David Murphy took a walk. Only three runs, but it’s better than zero. The Rangers wasted more scoring opportunities though — 0 for 10 with runners in scoring position.  Ugh.  The most infuriating example was a lead-off triple by Craig Gentry in the 9th.  Seriously.  Ian Kinsler, Elvis Andrus and Mitch Moreland failed to do anything that would advance Gentry 90 feet.  That’s the second night in a row Kinsler failed in a crucial inning.  So frustrating. Ryan Dempster wasn’t too shabby today.  He was coasting
