According to MLB.com, the Washington Nationals have agreed to a one-year deal with former Orioles starting pitcher, Danial Cabrera.
Cabrera, 27, was 8-10 with a 5.25 ERA for the Orioles this past season. Known for his fastball, curveball and changeup, Cabrera will join a rotation that will include left-handers Scott Olsen and John Lannan, and replace Tim Redding in their rotation.
The Mets had some interest in Cabrera, but he wasn't very high on their priority list, with at least ten other options ahead of him.
