I'm thinking of taking this blog in another direction. I haven't used it for awhile now, but I think it's a good time to get back into it. Anyway, I'm a stats freak. I love dissecting a box score and looking at historical statistics and see how they compare. Just recently, I spent several days looking over Stephen Strasburg's amazing debut and how it compared to others in the past. I'll talk more about that after Strasburg's second start.
So, back to the blog now. The new idea is that this will be a more in depth look at stats. Somewhat sampling some sabermetrics and just plain old observations in box scores. It will mostly cover Major League Baseball, Minor League Baseball and college baseball. However, I will hit on other sports as I see interesting trends or numbers. After all, "We Got a Guy There" too.
