According to the New York Posts' Joel Sherman, the Yankees have signed right-handed pitcher Buddy Carlyle to a Minor League deal. Carlyle will also receive an invitation to Major League Spring Training.
Carlyle last pitched in the Major Leagues with the Atlanta Braves in 2009. In his six year Major League career, he has pitched for the San Diego Padres, Los Angeles Dodgers and Braves going 11-11 with a 5.61 ERA in 104 appearances (27 starts).
