So was Joba Chamberlain's first start a success? He only lasted 2 1/3 innings and gave up two runs, one earned and four walks. The sell out Bronx crowd wanted to see Chamberlain pitch well www.rawsportsblog.com

  • "So was Joba Chamberlain's first start a success?"

    No.
  • i'm a huge yankees fan, and ill admit there was no way for his first start to be a success no matter how much fans wanted to see him go deep in a game. only way u can call it a success is by saying he got his allotted pitches in and escaped without injury.
  • i agree with mysportsrumors. Except Joba had some strikeouts.
Next game will be better I predict
