Found August 09, 2006 on Capitol Punishment:
Since arriving in Cincy from Washington in the trade that was supposed to help the Reds bullpen, RP Gary Majewski has givin up 13 runs in 9 1/3 innnings. He's now on the DL with right shoulder inflammation, an injury he says he's had all season. "It's been bothering me for a while, after the World Baseball Classic," Majewski said. He also mentioned that he's been taking anti-inflammatory drugs all season that he was given a cortisone shot before the all-star break. Reds GM Wayne Krivsky took a lot of heat for making the trade to get bullpen 'help' and now thinks he may have been misled by Nationals GM Jim Bowden. The linked article defends the Nationals side in the way they handled Majewski's health while negotiations were still ongoing. I'm sure Reds fans would disagree.
