Friday produced good news and bad from Reds pitchers on the disabled list. After throwing off flat ground, Aroldis Chapman told reporters in Cincinnati before the game Friday afternoon he feels normal less than three weeks after taking a line drive in the face March 19 during a spring training game. The reliever is scheduled to have a bullpen session Monday and downplayed fears the incident could affect his psyche when he takes the mound again. "I know me and I know that I don't think I'm going to have any issue with that," he said (via MLB.com's Mark Sheldon). "I've thought about the way that I feel and the way that I am. I don't think this is going to affect me." On the flip side, manager Bryan Price told reporters a bullpen session thrown by starter Mat Latos did not have a positive result as Latos works his way back from offseason elbow and knee surgeries "He didn't feel as good as we hoped he would feel," Price said. "We'll see how he is tomorrow. We hoped he wouldn't have any soreness at all. We will give him a couple of more days and reassess." Fox Sports Ohio's Jm Day reported during the broadcast of the Reds-Rays game Latos told him he was experiencing forearm tightness. Per Sheldon, Latos will be examined by team medical director Dr. Tim Kremchek before a decision is made about his future. Follow on Twitter @marcushartman
