Well there was some speculation about whether Jon Niese would start on Tues. Just Saturday Lo Hud Journal had an article quoting pitching coach Dan Warthen as saying that Niese was doubtful to start because he didn't like the match-ups. Well either that was a smoke screen, the Mets didn't have a better option or Warthen was over ruled because the Mets announced that Niese will make the start...."The Milwaukee matchup, for me, is better for a right-handed pitcher," Warthen said before last night's game against the Marlins. "That's something we've certainly looked into. We've looked at the numbers.
