Surviving Grady:
Well played, Fenway Faithful. Well played indeed. A one minute, ten second standing ovation for the returning Nomar Garciaparra, and a true hero's welcome for the guy we pinned all our hopes and dreams upon back in the day. For those who missed it, here's a brief clip from the NESN post-game show. I was kinda hoping, as Tom Caron broke in with, "If anyone was concerned that Red Sox Nation wouldn't show its appreciation...," that he'd conclude that thought with, "he or she is just a f@#king idiot, really."But I guess that's why we're here. The game itself? Sucked ass. But this was a moment for the memory vault.
