One Oakland A’s fan’s “I’m very disappointed!” in the bottom of the fifth inning spoke for many at Oakland’s tough game on Thursday night as they lost to the Baltimore Orioles at o.Co Coliseum 10-2.
Baltimore’s messy second inning gave Oakland an early lead thanks to a double from Josh Donaldson that scored what would end up being the only two Oakland runs of the night. The A’s offense ended there, as they went scoreless for the next seven innings.
The Orioles made up for their mistakes in the second and came back quickly in the third. After two singles, two doubles and an ejection, Baltimore was up 3-2. A’s Pitching coach Curt Young was thrown out for the first time in his career after a 3rd inning dispute with first base umpire Jim Reynolds.
