Kansas City Royals left fielder Alex Gordon was mistakenly referred to as Jeff Gordon by the Oakland Coliseum scoreboard during Tuesday night's game against the Oakland Athletics.
It was caught on television during the top of the ninth inning. No indication if the scoreboard goof was occurring throughout the game, as Gordon came to the plate four times in the game.
Jeff Gordon, of course, is not a baseball player, but a race car driver, so they are definitely not the same person. No word if they mistakenly referred to A's left fielder Coco Crisp as Frosted Flakes.
