The deal, announced Tuesday, is pending a physical.
The 38-year-old Blake was limited to only 63 games last season with the Los Angeles Dodgers because of injuries.
Blake is a .264 career hitter with 167 home runs and 616 RBIs.

Rockies agree to terms with Casey Blake
Tuesday the Rockies held a press conference to announce the Michael Cuddyer signing and the club added that terms have been agreed upon with veteran third basemen Casey Blake for a one year deal. Over the last three and a half years with the Dodgers Blake has a .260/.338/.431 batting line and 107 adjusted-OPS (OPS+). The deal guarantees Blake $2 million with another $1 million in incentives.
