In Lawrenceville, Georgia, the Gwinnett Braves (ATL) turned the lights out on the Pawtucket Red Sox early in tonight’s game, jumping out to a 5-1 lead after three innings en route to an 11-2 victory over the PawSox. Lefty Fabio Castro (0-2, 9.45) was the losing pitcher after surrendering five runs on seven hits and a pair of walks in 3.1 IP. Righty Ramon Ramirez followed Castro in the game and gave up four more runs on five hits and three walks in just 2 IP. RHP Robert Manuel allowed his first two runs of the year (in 15.2 IP).
