The Marlins are off to a 33-34 start, but owner Jeffrey Loria isn't panicking.

"People should relax," he said Tuesday. "We're going to be fine. It's going to be one hell of a run."

Loria said he's convinced the Marlins have plenty of time to get their offense going, pointing out that there are more than three months left in the season and the Marlins are within sight of a wild card spot even though they haven't played well for long stretches.

But the Marlins have been inconsistent, following up a 21-8 record in May with a 4-12 start in June.

Miami's had scored just 11 runs in its last seven games going into Tuesday, the fewest in the major leagues over that period. The Marlins got five Tuesday but still lost.

For June, Miami is also last in the majors both with 35 runs scored and a .204 batting average.

"Obviously, we'd like to see more, but I'm not worried long term about our offense at all," Loria said. "It's a long season. This is an excellent team and I still would never bet against them. Period. Don't bet against our guys."

He said the return next month of Emilio Bonifacio, on the disabled list with a sprained left thumb, will make a difference.
