Owings holds a 32-31 career record with a 4.91 ERA in 5 seasons with the Reds and D-Backs. Last season, he was 8-0 with a 3.57 ERAwith the D-Backs, starting 4 games for them. So apparently the Padres have signed Micah Owings. The only problem is, to what deal and is it for real. There is no official word from the team yet, but there has been a lot of rumblings on the internet about it. First we got a report from Dan Hayes saying it was a minor league deal. One week until FanFest! Who's excited? I know I am. So many names have been listed to appear for the autograph sessions, you will definitely get a chance to meet your favorite Padre and some new ones as well.
