Okay, I get it. I see what the Braves are going after here. First, they’re clubbing home runs. Three on Sunday against Brett Myers, and two again on Tuesday afternoon against ‘crafty’ (read: old) Jamie Moyer. The Braves are trying to make a point. ‘We’ve got a bit of power,’ they’re saying. ‘Don’t sell short the power.‘ And they’re right, I suppose. With Chipper Jones, Brian McCann, and a hopefully-right-headed Jeff Francoeur in the lineup, Atlanta will bang a few balls out of the park. They’re no Gashouse Gang, but no slouches, either.
