There are a number of strategies that experienced fantasy players employ. One of those is paying attention to fantasy drafts that have already taken place. Most websites that run a number of drafts track the average draft position for each player and that data is readily available. To be sure, you can follow my total run index religiously if you wish, but the biggest mistake some players make is picking their sleeper too early.
Yes, you can wow your friends with the knowledge of who is going to be better than advertised, but if you pick them too early that doesn’t really matter. If you wait until say the 15th or 20th round and then pick that sleeper you will look like a genius later on. On the flip side, don’t flip out when the others pick guys that are way overvalued.
