We continue with our series of looking at how the TRI projections are comparing with actual drafts going on. Of course, you will want to look up the average draft position closer to your draft to see what the current trends are. The average positions came from the first reporting on mlbdepthcharts.com’s fantasy magazine. Often, a periodic look at these will give you an idea of who is trending up and down. 1. Robinson Cano TRI Projection: 126.5 ADP: 9.6 Position Pick: 1 This is the first time that TRI has agreed with the early bird drafters. I’d imagine he will continue to be the number second baseman. Cano gives you almost every category, so you really can’t go wrong with him at the end of the first round or beginning of the second. 2. Ben Zobrist TRI Projection: 125.0 ADP: 82.4 Position Pick: 8 People always come up with reasons why he won’t produce and he always produces.
