Philly Buster:
After the much-anticipated return of Philadelphia Phillies center fielder Shane Victorino, John Mayberry, Jr. was chosen as the one to be sent down to Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
One day later, he was called back up to the big-league team.
It turns out Ross Gload will be away from the team for three days on paternity leave, so Mayberry’s services will be needed again. When Gload returns, Mayberry will likely be sent back down.
I still think Gload should have season-ending surgery.
