Philly Sports World:
Phillies Left-hander Cliff Lee was placed on the 15 day disabled list with an oblique strain.
The Philadelphia Phillies, who have relied so heavily on their starting pitching got some really bad news tonight. Cliff Lee will spend at least 15 days on the disabled list with an oblique strain.
Phillies GM Ruben Amaro Jr. said that he was confident that Cliff Lee will only miss a couple of starts.
The injury was sustained when Lee threw a pitch in the 10th inning of a loss to the San Francisco Giants. Lee threw 10 shutout innings in a futile effort that saw the Giants walk off in the bottom of the 11th.
Cliff Lee (0-1, 1.96 ERA) will be replaced in the rotation by Kyle Kendrick. In addition, the Phillies recalled Joe Savery.

The pitching, per usual, has upheld their part of this baseball bargain but the offense has failed to cash in any of their chips this season.Like I said it is still early, and baseball season is a marathon and not a sprint...

It's entirely possible they'll have better luck against Kyle Kendrick and Wade Miley.
