Phillies Place Outfielder Shane Victorino on DL; Dominic Brown Called Up

As expected, Shane Victorino has been placed on the disabled list with a nagging hamstring injury he suffered a few games ago. The DL stint will be retroactive to Tuesday. Domonic Brown has been called up to the major leagues, and will be making his much anticipated season debut in tonight’s game against the Texas Rangers. Brown is hitting .341 in Triple-A Lehigh Valley after missing the start of the season due to a broken hand. Brown will likely start in place of slumping right fielder Ben Francisco.
