The Phillies, fresh off of signing Mike Adams, have now signed pitcher John Lannan to a one-year $2.5mm deal Jim Salisbury of CSNPhilly.com reports. The deal also includes an additional $2.5mm in performance bonuses bringing his total for the one-year deal up to $5mm.
Lannan became a free agent after being non tendered by the Nationals. He spent most of the season at Triple-A as he was slated as the teams sixth starter.
He did however make six starts where he went 4-1 with a 4.13 ERA in 32.2 innings.
In 2011, Lannan went 10-13 with a 3.70 ERA in 184.2 innings.
In his career, Lannan is 3-13 with a 5.53 ERA against the Phillies and 39-39 with a 3.80 ERA against everyone else.
