The Philadelphia Phillies signed pitcher Dave Bush to a minor-league contract Sunday.Bush asked for and received his release from the Chicago Cubs earlier this month after failing to crack the major-league roster. Bush was signed by Chicago after being let go by the Texas Rangers earlier in the season.The 31-year-old righthander will report to the Phillies' Triple-A affiliate in Lehigh Valley.Bush went 0-1 with a 5.79 ERA with the Rangers this season. He previously pitched for the Toronto Blue Jays and Milwaukee Brewers.
