Final: Mets 3, Phillies 7. WP: Kyle Kendrick (1-1, 5.40 ERA) LP: Jeremy Hefner (0-2, 6.00 ERA) After Kyle Kendrick escaped the first inning with no damage done, Chase Utley made the Mets pay by hitting his second home run of the season, a two-run shot, to deep center field.  After Ryan Howard singled and Michael Young walked, Domonic Brown hit a moon-shot to the second-deck  of right field, his second home run of the season, to extend the Phillies' early lead to 5-0. Laynce Nix provided two additional insurance runs in the bottom of the sixth with his first home run of the season, a two-run shot to right center field, the give the Phillies a commanding 7-2 lead. Tonight, Kyle Kendrick went a respectable six innings of work, allowing just two runs on eight hits, while walking two batters and striking out six.  He sat through a 27-minute rain delay during the bottom of the fourth inning, and stuck through pitching past the top of the fifth to make him eligible for the win.  Ending the top of the fifth was spectacular however, as Ben Revere doubled-off Daniel Murphy after an amazing catch and throw to second baseman, Chase Utley. The Phillies will have their first off-day of the season tomorrow as they head down to Miami to face their divisional-foe Marlins.  John Lannan (0-0, 3.86) will get the nod for the Phillies in his second start of the season.    He allowed five hits, three runs and struck out five batters in seven innings of work against the Kansas City Royals on Saturday.  Friday, he will oppose Ricky Nolasco (0-1, 3.97 ERA) who is 8-5 with a 3.86 ERA in his career against the Phillies.  First-pitch is set for 7:10 pm EST.
