The Cubs are sellers which Ryan Dempster is expected to be available on the trade market and the Yankees are supposedly interested, according to Gordon Wittenmyer of the Chicago Sun-Times.
Dempster, 35, is in the middle of one of the best seasons of his career. In 11 starts so far, he has a 2.31 ERA, a 7.7 K/9, a 2.4 BB/9 and a career high 3.15 K/BB over 74 innings.
