Pirates at Cubs open game thread

B-REF PREVIEW | GAMEDAY | WEATHER | ACB CHAT ROOM Paul Maholm vs. Cubs hitters: .282/.325/.453 in 117 at-bats Ted Lilly vs. Pirates hitters: .302/.336/.472 in 106 at-bats When and Where: 12:05 on CSN (locally) and MLB.TV (those of us who do not live in Chicago) Maholm has faced the Cubs once this year pitching 8 innings and allowing 5 runs. Lee, Ramirez and Soriano have all hit Maholm well. Ramirez and Soriano have 5 home runs against him. Nobody else has done much of anything against the Pirates starter today. Lilly has faced the Bucs twice and in total he's allowed 9 runs in 9.2 innings. Luis Rivas has hit a couple bombs off of Lilly and a couple of their lefties, McClouth and Adam LaRoche, have hit him quite well. The wind is blowing straight in from CF so maybe that will keep Lilly in the park today.
