The Pirates on Wednesday signed infielder Anderson Hernandez to a Minor League contract that includes an invitation to Spring Training. Hernandez is now the ninth non-roster player to be invited to Pittsburgh's big league camp.

The Bucs signed infielder Anderson Hernandez to a minor league deal today (including a spring training invite). Hernandez is a very light-hitting utility infielder – he’ll probably just be minor league depth.
