Play Like A Champion Today

As a fan of the Boston Red Sox living in enemy territory it was hard for me to see my boys come down here to Florida and lay an egg like they did. They had just recently had an 11 game win streak snapped and then started a new one before proceeding to lose 3 out of 4 to the then last place Rays. Growing up I watched a lot of Notre DameFighting Irish football games as my Dad was a big fan. I still watch a lot of Fighting Irish football games come to think of it, but I'll eleborate more on that elsewhere. As most everyone that watches college football knows they have a sign on the way out of their locker room that they slap as they charge out onto that football field. That sign reads 'Play Like A Champion Today'. I know for many these may seem like empty words considering the state of Notre Dame football lately, but I feel there is something to that simple phrase. How can you ever expect to be a champion if you don't go out on that field and play like one. ...
