Here is a list of players that either had their 2013 option picked up or declined. -The Yankees announced that they have exercised their team options for Robinson Cano, Curtis Granderson and David Aardsma. Cano and Granderson will each make $15mm while Aardsma who is coming off of Tommy John surgery will make $500k. -The Phillies exercised their $5mm option they held for catcher Carlos Ruiz, Matt Gelb of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. The Phillies later announced that they have declined the 2013 options on Ty Wigginton and Jose Contreras. Wigginton was set to make $4mm and Contreras was set to make $2.5mm. Both player received a $500k buyout. –The Twins have declined their $9.25mm option on pitcher Scott Baker, Joe Christensen of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports. Baker missed last season while recovering from Tommy John surgery. -The Orioles have picked up Luis Ayala's 2013 option, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
