FullCountPitch Magazine to Resume Publishing on February 1, 2011
For Immediate Release:
PRLog (Press Release) – Jan 27, 2011 –FullCountPitch Media LLC. announced that its flagship publication, FullCountPitch Magazine will resume publication on February 1, 2011. The acclaimed e-magazine will resume a full publishing schedule, continuing to build its reputation as a premier source for Baseball coverage. The announcement was made by FullCountPitch Media President Gary Armida.
“Our goal has always been to provide the best baseball coverage. We did that previously, but now FullCountPitch Magazine has the proper structure to become the ‘go to’ source for any baseball fan,” stated Armida. The proper structure involves a larger staff of writers, more interaction with readers, and better presentation. “We have a great staff with some of the best baseball writers who are just coming up in the field. Our structure may be slightly improved, but we are nothing without our content. Our content will always be some of the best available,” said Armida.
FullCountPitch Magazine will have ten staff members at the time of relaunch. The staff will be led by Armida who serves as Senior Columnist and Executive Editor. Matt Sherman returns as a Senior Columnist after making a successful debut for FullCountPitch Magazine last summer. David Allan will also return to the staff as a columnist. The remaining columnists are new to FullCountPitch Media, but have written in many prominent places. Columnists Matthew Coller, Jesse Motiff, Brian Procida, Drew Sarver, and Joe Tarring come to FullCountPitch Magazine with a reputation of quality analysis, excellent writing, and a great depth of baseball knowledge. FCP Magazine will also have two contributors, Devon Teeple and Erik Nilsen, each bringing unique insights and access to the sport. “I am excited about the possibilities of this staff. Each brings a passion for the sport, a passion for writing, and a passion to tell a story. Each staff member has a unique style, which will give a nice variety of perspectives for our readership. We’ve never had that variety before. We are a better publication,” stated Armida.
FullCountPitch Magazine will also feature weekly chats with the staff, a partnership with Big Lead Sports, a new radio show, and an association with Baseball Digest. “At the end of the day, readers will come to us because our writing separates us. Our writing staff will make the whole product go. Our associations with Big Lead Sports and Baseball Digest will allow a wider audience to see our product which will allow for greater interaction with weekly chats and our radio show, which is currently in development. We are committed to give every reader great analysis, great opinion, and great insight into Major League Baseball. As most of the big names outlets are scaling back, we are moving forward to provide a unique experience for the baseball fan. We are ready to go,” summarized Armida.
FullCountPitch Media, LLC. has been a fully accredited media outlet by Major League Baseball since August, 2009. FullCountPitch Magazine was started in November of 2007 as fullcountpitch.com. After gaining credibility within the blog world and pushing its limits, Armida formed FullCountPitch Media, LLC. and rebranded the publication to FullCountPitch Magazine when Major League Baseball recognized the company as a legitimate media outlet in 2009.
