AAA: INDIANAPOLIS INDIANS  Box Score Result: Indianapolis 5, Louisville 4 Starting Pitcher: Kyle Waldrop, RHP (2.25) – 6.0 IP, 4 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 1 BB, 8 K, 0 HR Top Hitter: Tony Sanchez, C (.261) – 2-for-4, HR, 2 RBI Other Notable Performers: Brett Carroll, LF (.304) – 2-for-3, 2B, BB Game Notes: Indianapolis was losing 4-2 heading into the bottom of the ninth inning. They won on a walk off homer by Tony Sanchez, who hit his second of the year. Kyle Waldrop had given up one run through six innings of work, then pitched to three batters in the seventh and added three more runs. Two of those runs scored off of Erik Cordier.   AA: ALTOONA CURVE  Box Score Result: Richmond 10, Altoona 6 Starting Pitcher: Jameson Taillon, RHP (2.63) – 6.0 IP, 7 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 2 BB, 3 K, 0 HR Top Hitter: Mel Rojas, CF (.279) – 2-for-5, HR Other Notable Performers: Matt Curry, 1B (.265) – 2-for-5 Drew Maggi, 2B (.292) – 2-for-3, BB Game Notes: Jameson Taillon didn’t have a good start tonight. He gave up three runs in the first inning, then two more in the fourth. This was by far his worst start at the Double-A level, with a 1.29 ERA in his six previous starts. Mel Rojas hit his second home run of the season, and went 2-for-5. Rojas continues to be inconsistent. His average is respectable, but his power isn’t what you’d want to see so far this year. Nathan Baker and Kenn Kasparek combined to give up five runs in the final two innings.   A+: BRADENTON MARAUDERS Box Score Result: Bradenton 5, Jupiter 3 Starting Pitcher: Nick Kingham, RHP (1-2, 3.92) – 5.0 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 0 BB, 6 K, 0 HR Top Hitter: Jose Osuna, 1B (.262) – 3-for-4, 2B, HR Other Notable Performers: Alen Hanson, SS (.258) – 2-for-4, 2B Zach Thornton, RHP (2.00) – 2.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 2 K, 0 HR Game Notes: Click here to read my game report.   A: WEST VIRGINIA POWER West Virginia was off tonight.
