They scored five in the second inning to take command of the game. James McDonald made a rehab start, throwing 89 pitches with 49 strikes. Based on previous pitchers, that would put McDonald 1-2 starts away from returning to the majors.   AA: ALTOONA CURVE    Altoona was postponed due to rain.   A+: BRADENTON MARAUDERS   Bradenton was supposed to resume their suspended game today, and play a normal game. Both games were postponed. They will play a suspended game tomorrow, plus a seven inning game, then a double header Thursday.   Stetson Allie hit his 17th homer of the year. Joely Rodriguez has a 1.70 ERA in 53 innings over his last ten starts, with a 42:12 K/BB ratio. Prior to these two games he was in a bit of a slump, going 5-for-26 in his last eight games. Josh Bell went 4-for-6 with two doubles and two walks. Bell hasn’t been in a slump, and is now 9-for-18 with three doubles over his last five games.  He also has just four strikeouts in 38 at-bats over his last ten games.
