From the East Texas Pump JacksThe East Texas Pump Jacks began rolling out the begin guns on Tuesday, announcing the signing of McNeese State sophomore outfielder Lee Orr for the 2010 season.A redshirt freshman last year, Orr was named a Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American for his exploits. He led the Cowboys with 15 home runs, 57 RBI, and 18 stolen bases, while batting .301. He became the first McNeese player to lead the team in homers, steals and RBI since future major leaguer Ben Broussard turned the trick in 1999.Orr also led the squad in runs (52), triples (4), extra-base hits (30), total bases (123), walks (37), and slugging percentage (.628).It was a season of superlatives for Orr. He tied a school record when he posted two triples in the first game of a doubleheader against Louisiana Tech, adding another triple in the nightcap for good measure.
