St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Matt Holliday has been ruled out of Saturday's Game 1 of the National League Division Series against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Holliday aggravated an inflamed tendon in his right hand during Tuesday's contest against the Houston Astros.
He flied out in his lone at-bat in the second inning on Tuesday and was removed an inning later.
