I don’t have a lot to say about this game.  There’s not really much to say … at least not without repeating what I’ve been saying the past few weeks. Game 162 was pretty much a reflection of the season. Early lead, late collapse. The Rangers jumped out to 5-1 lead in the 3rd.  Morale (among fans on Twitter and in the dugout) was high, and a win was within our grasp. The Rangers gave up six runs in the 4th. Two of those runs scored on a terrible missed catch by Josh Hamilton that will rival the Nelson Cruz Game 6 mishap in Rangers’ memories. It would have been the third out and left the game tied. The A’s went on to score five more unanswered run en route to a 12-5 win and the Americna League West title. Tears.  So many tears. I’m not even going to finish out this entry in the usual fashion.  I just can’t. As horrible as this feels, I’m trying to hold on to the small sliver of hope that remains.  The season isn’t over yet.  It feels like it, but it’s not.  The Rangers now play in a
