While some are still calling it close, others are saying it's done pending a physical. It appears Jon Rauch will join the Mets on a one year deal for approx. 3.5 M. It's a little bit more then I expected them to spend on a set-up man/closer competitor but Matt Capps with similar numbers set the market. Capps deal was for 4.75M in the first year and a second year at 6M but there;s a 250k buyout. Apparently the Mets aren't done at Rauch and are looking to add more possible closer candidates...
